Dr. Dereck Mush in an on-camera interview at Web Summit
Founder

Hi, I'm Dr. Dereck. I built this because I lived the problem.

Web Summit, Lisbon, on-camera interview

I trained in medicine believing the work would speak for itself. It does, but only inside the hospital. Outside, nobody could say what I was good at, because nothing about it existed in public.

When I moved into HealthTech, I saw the same pattern on the commercial side. The founders and executives winning meetings were rarely the ones with the best product. They were the ones buyers could find and already trusted. Capability was not the filter. Legibility was. So I learned the other side. I did an MBA, studied marketing deeply, and started Teknon Labs, a HealthTech marketing agency that has helped hundreds of businesses navigate healthcare.

Known Doctors is what I wish had existed then. A team that takes a HealthTech leader's real expertise, decides what the company should be known for, and builds the public record that makes buyers, clinicians and investors call first.

Why we exist

You built something credible. The market still cannot find you.

You know the clinical problem, the workflow and the economics better than most people selling into the same hospitals. And still, pipeline depends on cold outreach and whoever happens to be in the room.

Meanwhile a competitor with a thinner product is quoted in the trade press, sits on panels and gets introduced by clinicians. Not because they are better. Because their name came up and yours did not.

That is the whole gap. Not the product, not the effort. Findability and trust. We work out what you should be known for, then build the public record that brings the right buyers and clinicians to you.

Not every executive wants to be an influencer.

Good. Most of the leaders I respect would rather not perform on camera, and I would never ask them to. Several people we work with will never post weekly, and it will not cost them a thing.

Loud is one strategy. Quiet is another: becoming the company clinicians recommend, the founder a journalist keeps in their contacts, the name an investor hears twice in one week.

We build around who you actually are, not around a personal-brand playbook copied from someone selling courses.

You stay an operator

This is not a media project. The work exists to support commercial outcomes.

Your voice, not ours

Nothing goes out that you would be uncomfortable saying out loud.

Verified only

No invented numbers, no borrowed logos, no implied guarantees.

What I believe

Expertise is an asset, not just a job

Operating knowledge of health systems creates value in rooms far outside your own company. Most of it is never packaged.

Pipeline first

Visibility and authority matter because of what they lead to: qualified conversations, partnerships, clinical champions and investor interest.

Build around the operator

We start from your ambitions, personality and appetite for visibility, then design the strategy.

Nothing invented

We publish verified outcomes only. No borrowed logos, no invented numbers, no implied guarantees.

Clinical credibility is the moat

Healthcare buyers trust people who understand the ward. We keep that at the centre of the positioning.

Fewer, better moves

One strong position beats a content calendar. We do less, and we do it properly.
